We will continue to follow the advice and guidance of the Ministry of Education. In doing so please take note of the following;
COVID-19
Pick-Ups and Drop-Offs
We would like to take this opportunity to re-assure you all that we will be following all Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health guidelines to ensure that this happens safely. We would like to ask that everyone coming onto the Pre-School site is wearing a mask, signs in and sanitises their hands. We would like to ask that only one parent/caregiver is present at pick up / drop off, limit time spent on premises and remain outdoors where possible.
If Children are sick, or become sick at Pre-School
We require that any children who are feeling sick or unwell are kept at home. If children become sick or symptomatic whilst at Pre-School, they will be isolated with a staff member, distanced from others and sent home. If parents/caregivers are sick they must also not bring their child into Pre-School.
Hygiene Practices at Pre-School
We would also like to reassure you that hand washing with soap and paper towels will be actively supervised throughout the day and hand sanitizer will be available throughout Pre-School and supervised by staff. We will disinfect and clean all surfaces regularly throughout the day and again each evening. We will continue to promote good hygiene practices with the children, including sneezing and coughing etiquette (cough and sneeze into their elbows) and ask that this is promoted at home too. However, as above we do ask that any child who is sneezing or coughing is kept at home.
Pre-School Cleaning and Resources
We have had Pre-School deep cleaned during lockdown and we will continue to follow procedure for daily cleaning routines for toys and resources alongside regular surface cleaning during the day.

Friends of Our Centre
As a non for profit organisation, we reply on the kind donations of our friends in the community and appreciate all the help and support they offer. Every bit of profit made by the pre-school goes straight back into the centre ensuring our children, teachers and staff have all the resources they need to provide the best learning environment possible.
If you would like to get involved or have something to offer our centre
we would love to hear from you.
A huge thank you to the following businesses who have contributed to our centre in one way or another – pai whakawhetai ki a koutou.
